2026 Registration Rates and Deadlines – Southern Regional Science Association

Please note that every year, SRSA signs a contract with a host site to serve as the venue for the conference. As part of the contract, SRSA promises to fill a certain number of room nights. If we fail to fill our contracted room block, SRSA must pay the full nightly cost of each unfilled room. This is the reason why we offer a discounted rate for conference participants who stay at the conference hotel.

Registrants can book a room at The Brown Hotel at the conference-negotiated group rate of $15 here.

Regular Registration fees for 2026 (paid February 7 – February 20, 2026):

Late Registration fees for 2026 (paid after February 21, 2026):

Refund Policy

For any cancellations of standard registrations received before February 15, 2026, SRSA will retain $50 of your registration fee to cover credit card and related handling charges as well as meeting alternation expenses. For cancellations received between February 15, 2026 and March 1, 2026, $100 of your registration fee will be retained.

For student registrations, $25 of the registration fee will be retained for cancellations through March 1, 2026.

Refund requests should be submitted to SRSA’s Co-Executive Director/Treasurer, Christa Court.

Under no circumstances will refunds be issued after 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on March 1, 2026. If, however, it becomes impossible for you to attend after March 1, you may optionally transfer your registration to an alternate participant that you have identified by contacting SRSA’s Co-Executive Director/Treasurer, Christa Court.
