Annie is a recent graduate of Ph.D. Economics program at
West Virginia University. During her
graduate studies, she taught several undergraduate courses including
microeconomics, macroeconomics, and business statistics, and worked for the
Bureau of Business and Economic Research.
Her primary research interests include economic growth and development,
and natural resource economics. Her
current research focuses on issues related to natural resource development in
the Appalachian Region, particularly educational attainment. Anne will be a Visiting Professor at the
University of Colorado Denver beginning in fall 2013.
